Managing SCSI Connections
Functions include:
• Viewing SCSI Channel Information (page 59)
• Enabling SCSI Targets (page 59)
• Setting SCSI Termination (page 60)
• Viewing SCSI Target Information (page 60)
Viewing SCSI Channel Information
1. Click the Subsystem icon in Tree View.
2. Click the Administrative Tools icon.
3. Click on the SCSI Management icon.
The Channel tab displays SCSI Channel Information:
• Maximum Data Transfer Rate
• Termination Status
• List of currently enabled targets
To see Target information, click the Target tab.
Enabling SCSI Targets
To enable a SCSI target:
1. Click the Subsystem icon in Tree View.
2. Click the Administrative Tools icon.
3. Click on the SCSI Management icon.
The Channel tab displays SCSI Channel Information:
4. Click on the Channel 1 or the Channel 2 link.
5. Check (click on) the TID box beside the target you want to enable.
Checked means enabled, unchecked means disabled.
6. Click the Submit button.
Notes
• You must make target settings for each SCSI channel
separately.
• You must restart the VTrak for new settings to become
effective. See “Restarting the Subsystem” on page 77.
